A new children's playroom was opened in a children's polyclinic in Luhansk
On January 22, the Ministry of Health of the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) together with the "People's Front" opened a new children's playroom in Lugansk City Children's Polyclinic No. 4.
"The new play area helps young patients to forget about illnesses and worries for a while, and to bear the waiting time between procedures much easier. Each space is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable pastime," LNR Health Minister Natalia Pashchenko wrote in her Telegram channel.
Pashchenko called it very important that in this way every child will be able to find an activity to his or her liking, and care about the emotional state of children will create conditions for their early recovery.
The idea to create this space belongs to the "People's Front" and the Charity Fund for Children of Donbass, created by the Joint Stock Bank "RUSSIA". The children's rooms created in the clinics of the new regions have TV sets and special games that develop fine motor skills. There are also tables where children can draw or read books.
"On the initiative of the "People's Front", supported by the Charity Fund for Children of Donbass, with which we have been implementing programs since 2022, more and more new children's spaces are being opened in new regions. Today we are opening it in Kamennobrodskaya polyclinic No. 4, where children are undergoing inpatient treatment in the neurological department," said the head of the regional branch of the All-Russian People's Front, Anna Eremenko.
According to Christina Fedoseyeva, director of the Charity Fund for Children of Donbass, it is planned to open more than 40 children's rooms in four new regions in total.
"We regularly receive positive feedback and words of gratitude from the management of medical institutions, parents and children. For us, this is a confirmation that the project is in demand and useful," she shared.
Earlier, on December 30, 2024, within the framework of the program, a game room for young patients was opened in the children's hospital in Genichesk, Kherson region. Another one was opened in November in the health resort of Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhya Oblast, and in October - in the Central City Hospital of Khartsyzsk in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR).
