A resident of Novaya Kakhovka was injured in an AFU strike on a residential house

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have hit a multi-storey residential building in Novaya Kakhovka in Kherson Region, a civilian was injured as a result. About it on January 22 reports the administration of the urban district in Telegram-channel.

"About 13:15 Ukrainian terrorists struck a multi-storey residential building on Shchorsa Street," - stated in the statement.

It is specified that the victim is provided with medical care. As a result of the attack was damaged gas pipe and broken windows in the house.

Earlier, January 21, the head of the Kakhovka municipal district Pavel Filipchuk said that the AFU hit the center of Kakhovka. It was reported about the damaged gas pipe and power electric wires in the area of the ambulance station. There was no information about casualties or fatalities.

The AFU has been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis amid a special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
