In Biysk, Altai Krai, more than 8 thousand people were disconnected from heating due to an accident. This was reported on January 22 in the Telegram-channel of the regional Prosecutor's office.

"The Prosecutor's office of the city of Biysk of Altai Krai organized an inspection on the fact of emergency disconnection of heating energy", - stated in the message with reference to the Assistant Prosecutor of the region Maria Antoshkina.

He noted that 146 apartment houses, where more than 8 thousand people live, and 15 social facilities were left without heat supply.

The reasons for the disconnection of heating are being established. It is specified that the city prosecutor's office controls the restoration of the rights of citizens, including recalculation of payment for utilities.

Earlier, on January 20, in Dzerzhinsky and Kirovsky districts of Novosibirsk more than 90 buildings were disconnected from heating to eliminate defects before the cold weather. It was noted that this was a planned shutdown to repair a 500 mm diameter defect in the pipeline.
