VIS Group denied the introduction of tolls on the Mytishchi Chord
The Mytishchi High-Speed Chord (the northern understudy of the Moscow Ring Road) continues to operate free of charge, the VIS Group, which implemented the highway project under a private concession initiative, said on its website.
"At present, travel along the Mytishchi City Chord is free of charge. The test (free) mode of using the highway is still in effect. No penalties for the use of the highway during this period will follow. The introduction of tolls will be announced separately on our website", - stated in the message on January 22.
On the eve of the Ministry of Transport of the Moscow region in its Telegram-channel announced that from January 22 the passage along the Mytishchi chord will become toll-free.
Traffic on the Mytishchi Chord was opened on December 17, 2024, its construction was carried out for four years. According to the Ministry of Transport, more than 400 thousand cars have already traveled along it. As Governor Andrei Vorobyov said, this is the first regional concession in the Moscow region. The Vinogradovo - Boltino - Tarasovka road has become a doublet of the Moscow Ring Road, the northern section of which should be relieved by 20%, he reported.
Earlier in the day it was reported that the State Duma passed in the first reading of the government bill, which proposes to oblige operators of toll roads to notify drivers of the debt for the to ll through the portal "Gosuservices". It is assumed that if the law is introduced, all operators of regional and private toll roads will be obliged to send data on debtors.
