Experts predicted popular vacation destinations for Russians in 2025

Tourists in 2025 will most often choose destinations such as Thailand, Egypt, Maldives, Indonesia, Cuba, China, UAE. This was announced by Natalia Osipova, Executive Director of the Alliance of Travel Agencies, at a press conference at the Izvestia International Center on January 22.

According to the expert, the situation with the popularity of foreign destinations will depend on how the ruble will strengthen against foreign currencies.

In addition, the expert recommended travelers who plan to go abroad to take out travel insurance.

Last year, on December 14, the head of PR-department of Palmira hotel chain Yulia Morozova told "Izvestia" about tourist preferences of Russians. According to her, among the key trends can be distinguished two directions: active trips to the cities with a rich sightseeing program and quiet rest outside the city, including walks, rest in hotels and visiting SPA.
