It is also a combination of recreational, natural, ecological, and, of course, ethno-cultural recreation," added Yuri Barzykin, vice-president of the Russian Union of Travel Industry, chairman of the Committee of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation on Entrepreneurship in Tourism.
According to the expert, glamping in Russia is rapidly developing and there are about 700 thousand such places in the country.
