The bodies of a man and a woman were found in an apartment near Khimki, Moscow Region, presumably dead due to poisoning by an unknown substance. This was reported on Wednesday, January 22, by a source of "Izvestia".

Earlier, on December 28, 2024, in the town of Sertolovo, Vsevolozhsk district, Leningrad region, two workers at a construction site were poisoned by an unknown substance and died. It was established that one of the deceased worked at the site for about two weeks, and his colleague came to the construction site two days before his death. Previously, both men were convicted.
