Means of electronic warfare (REB) and anti-aircraft defense (AAD) overnight eliminated 15 drones in the municipality of Donetsk, as well as in Kamensky, Krasnosulinsky and Ust-Donetsky districts. This was reported on January 22 by Yuri Slyusar, the Acting Governor of the Rostov region.
"According to the duty services, in the town of Krasny Sulin the debris of the downed drone fell on the territory of a private house, in the settlement of Maryino in Donetsk - in the yard of a private house and on the territory near the kindergarten "Berezka"," he informed in his Telegram-channel.
According to preliminary data, there is no destruction and victims. The sappers are working at the site.
Earlier, on January 21, Yuri Slyusar, the Acting Governor, said that in the Rostov region, the air defense forces eliminated three Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). He emphasized, according to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
On this day, the Defense Ministry reported that air defense means intercepted nine Ukrainian drones over the territory of Rostov region in 45 minutes.
The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
