US President Donald Trump stripped the security from the staff of the Secret Service of former national security adviser John Bolton. This was reported by CNN on January 21.

"I am disappointed, but not surprised. Despite my criticism of President Biden's national security policy, he nevertheless decided to give me Secret Service protection again in 2021," Bolton told CNN.

Trump made the decision to strip the ex-advisor of his protection hours after taking office.

"In 2022, the Justice Department brought criminal charges against a member of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps for attempting to hire an assassin to kill me. That threat persists today. The American people can judge for themselves which president made the right decision," Bolton said.

Trump's former national security adviser left the White House in November 2019. He needed constant Secret Service protection because of threats against him from Iran. Trump ended his protection after he left his administration after his first term, but Joe Biden reinstated it as soon as he took office.

On January 20, US President Donald Trump signed dozens of documents in 47 minutes at the White House after his inauguration. The broadcast was broadcast on the YouTube channel of the US administration.

Earlier in the day, Trump took the oath of office in the Capitol rotunda, becoming the 47th president of the United States. Along with him, Vice President Jay Dee Vance was sworn in. This is Trump's second presidential term, the first time he was the American leader in 2017-2021. In the inaugural speech, the new US president announced the beginning of the "golden age of America".

After the ceremony, Trump signed more than 200 decrees. In particular, they concern the withdrawal of the US from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the introduction of a state of emergency on the border with Mexico. Along with this, he canceled about 80 decrees of the administration of former White House chief of staff Joe Biden.
