In Krasnoyarsk Krai, a man was sentenced to 16.5 years for drug manufacturing

The court of Krasnoyarsk region sentenced a man, who manufactured 264 kg of narcotic substances, to 16.5 years in prison. This was reported in the press service of the regional prosecutor's office on January 21.

It is established that in March 2023, a resident of Irkutsk responded on the Internet to the vacancy of a "cook" of banned substances. "Employer" instructed him to open a drug lab in Kansk and promised to pay 250 thousand rubles per 1 kg.

The defendant received from the "operator" the coordinates of caches with chemicals and equipment, bought a plot of land with the money provided and hired an assistant.

"By December 2023, the accomplices managed to manufacture 264 kg of drugs and 13 kg of precursors. Prepared illegal drugs they hid on the territory of the drug lab," - stated in Telegram-channel.

The man was found guilty of illegal production of drugs (part 5 of article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), acquisition and storage of precursors of prohibited substances (part 2 of article 228.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The land plot was added to the income of the state, the defendant will serve his sentence in a strict regime colony.

Earlier, on December 5, 2024, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reported that in Rostov region transport police detained a criminal group of five men who sold drugs and seized from them 9 kg of illicit substances. The suspects were detained. 18 criminal cases were opened against the five men under Part 3 of Article 30, paragraph "g" of Part 4 of Article 228.1, Part 3 of Article 30 and Part 5 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal production, sale or forwarding of narcotic drugs").
