- Zakharova called for an investigation into U.S. propaganda "breaking the lives" of people of diversity
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on January 21 called for an investigation into U.S. propaganda on diversity that has "broken people's lives."
Earlier, US President Donald Trump signed an executive order dissolving all inclusion programs in the federal government.
"This is what legitimate international bodies should be doing - investigating how for decades one regime on the world stage has promoted an inhumane doctrine, linking it to aid, sanctions, political and financial pressure, as well as humiliation of human dignity and bullying", she wrote in her Telegram channel.
As Zakharova noted, over the years of such propaganda, the lives of hundreds of people who were imposed the ideology of amputating genitals and replacing them with artificial ones have been broken. According to her, for many years the American side forced solidarity with anti-scientific narratives on all international platforms.
"In essence, this was the very propaganda that kills. Both body and soul," the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman added.
Earlier in the day after his inauguration, Trump signed more than 200 new decrees. The day before, he announced the recognition of only two genders in the country - male and female.
Trump after taking the oath of office announced the beginning of the "golden age of America". He added that he will put the US first, noting that the country will become bigger, stronger and far more exceptional than ever before. In addition, the new president promised to quickly return hope, security and peace to Americans.
Before that it was reported that Donald Trump took the oath of office and became the 47th President of the United States. Along with him, the oath of office in the rotunda of the Capitol was taken by Vice President JD Vance.
