17 injured in the shelling of Bekhteri village in Kherson region remain in hospitals

After Ukrainian militants shelled the village of Bekhteri in the Kherson Region, 17 injured people remain in hospitals, six of them in serious condition. This was reported to journalists on Tuesday, January 21, in the Federal Center for Disaster Medicine of the Ministry of Health of Russia.

"In hospitals remain 17 people injured in yesterday's shelling by Ukrainian nationalists of the village of Bekhteri, Golopristansky district, Kherson region, including three children. Six victims, including a child - in serious condition, 11 people - in a state of average severity", - stated in the message.

Two patients were evacuated for treatment in hospitals in Crimea. The victims are provided with all the necessary medical care, and telemedicine consultations with specialists of federal medical institutions are also held, the center pointed out.

The armed forces of Ukraine attacked the village of Bekhteri in the Kherson region the day before. The strike with cluster munitions came on the territory adjacent to the school. As a result, two people were killed and 25 others were injured. A criminal case has been opened.

Ukrainian militants are shelling Russian territories on a daily basis against the backdrop of the special operation to defend Donbass, the start of which Russia announced on February 24, 2022.
