The AFU struck the center of Horlivka in the DNR
The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have hit the center of the city of Horlivka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was reported by the mayor of the locality Ivan Prikhodko on January 21.
"According to preliminary information, two shells exploded in the area of the central market," - the mayor indicated in his Telegram-channel.
Soon he specified that Ukrainian terrorists carried out the dropping of an explosive object from a drone in Shirokaya Balka in the Central City district of the city. On the attached video in the place of the arrival can be seen shards of glass and slate.
Earlier, on January 20, Prikhodko reported that 11 people were injured in the AFU artillery strike of the city center. Two institutions and a civilian car were also damaged.
On the same day, the head of the DNR Denis Pushilin said that eight employees of the Donbassgaz State Concern (SC) were injured of varying severity in an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the AFU. The injured were women born in 1972, 1964, 1985 and men born in 1986, 1980, 1965, 1964, 1964. The brigade was on its way to the repair facility.
Ukraine's armed forces have been shelling Russian territory on a daily basis amid a special operation to defend Donbass, which Moscow announced on February 24, 2022.
