Three people died in a fire at the Turkish ski resort of Kartalkaya in Bolu province. This was reported by TRT Haber on January 20.

"As it became known, as a result of a large-scale fire killed three people and injured 21," - informed the TV channel.

It is specified that the fire, which emerged in the ski resort of Kartalkaya for unknown reasons, quickly engulfed the hotel.

Many fire brigades, as well as medical teams and helicopters were dispatched to the region from the city center, districts and adjacent provinces upon notification.

Hotel residents have been evacuated while emergency crews continue to work to extinguish the massive fire.

The Russian Embassy told RIA Novosti that it had not received any information about Russians injured or killed in the fire.

Earlier, January 2, a hotel in Turkey almost completely burned down due to short-circuited wiring. It is noted that the emergency services managed to extinguish the fire, preventing the fire from spreading to the adjacent forest area. Most of the hotel rooms were completely destroyed.
