One person killed and 21 wounded in shelling of DNR
Ukrainian troops shelled the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) 25 times over the day, as a result of the attacks one person was killed and 21 others were injured. This was reported on January 21 by the Telegram channel of the region's representation in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC).
"A total of 67 units of various ammunition were fired," informed the press service of the center in the Telegram-channel of the agency.
It is reported that as a result of the attacks killed one person, another 21 were injured. In addition, 11 residential houses, seven civilian infrastructure facilities and three cars were damaged.
Earlier, on January 10, the JCCC reported that two people were killed and 12 injured in the shelling of the DNR. Over the day, the armed formations of Ukraine (AFU) conducted more than 15 strikes, using an attack drone, 155 mm caliber barrel artillery and rocket artillery of two calibers - 122 and 227 mm.
In addition, the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) reported that the AFU shelled populated areas in the Gorlovka direction of the DNR 32 times during January 9.
Ukrainian militants have been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis amid the special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
