Court extends arrest of defendant in Dolina apartment fraud case
Moscow court has extended the preventive measure for the defendant in the case of fraud against People's Artist of Russia Larisa Dolina. This is reported on January 20 in Telegram-channel of courts of general jurisdiction.
"The decision of the Tagansky district court of Moscow extended the period of detention in respect of the accused Kamenetsky Arthur Ildarovich," - said in a statement.
The defendant in the case will stay in custody for another two months and seven days.
Earlier, on January 17, the court recovered in favor of singer Larisa Dolina more than 69 million rubles in a criminal case of fraud with her apartment. The money will be returned to the artist by the owners of the bank accounts, which received the stolen funds.
Before that, on December 25, 2024, the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow reported the detention in Togliatti of another alleged accomplice in the scheme to steal money from Dolina. He was taken into custody the same day.
On August 13 last year, Dolina stated that she had fallen victim to fraudsters. Attackers persuaded her to sell an apartment in the center of Moscow, and transfer the money to a supposedly safe account. A criminal case has been opened and the real estate has been seized.
Angela Tsyrulnikova, 53, through whom Dolina transferred part of the funds to the fraudsters, was arrested at the same time. The second defendant - 43-year-old Dmitry Leontiev - was detained on October 22, and on November 21, the third defendant - 27-year-old previously convicted resident of Tatarstan - was detained.
The new owner of the apartment was 34-year-old single mother Polina Lurie. In late August, Dolina filed a lawsuit against her, and on September 3, Lurie filed a counterclaim. In November, it became known that Lurie wanted to reach an amicable settlement.
