Abdukodir Khusanov signed a contract with Manchester City
Central defender of Uzbekistan national team Abdukodir Khusanov has completed signing a contract with soccer club (FC) Manchester City. This is reported on January 20 on the official website of the team.
"I am very happy to join Manchester City, a club whose game I have enjoyed watching for a long time. This squad contains the best players in the world and I am looking forward to playing alongside them," Husanov said.
The footballer will start participating in matches with the team in the second part of the 2024/25 season. His contract with the FC is valid until the summer of 2029.
In the composition of Manchester City Khasanov will play under the number 45.
Earlier, on January 10, Football Club (FC) Lance accepted a transfer offer from Manchester City for defender Abdukodir Khusanov for £33.5 million (€40 million).
On the same day, Dynamo Moscow striker Vyacheslav Grulev transferred to Pari Nizhny Novgorod. With the new club the athlete signed a contract for 2.5 years.
Before that, on November 23, 2024, the soccer club Manchester City on its field lost to Tottenham in the match of the 12th round of the English Premier League (APL). The meeting ended with a score of 0:4.
