Rada deputy Bezuglaya questioned the further existence of Ukraine
Ukraine 's existence as a state remains an "open question". Verkhovna Rada MP Maryana Bezuglaya said this on January 20.
"The open question, which is obvious for all of us, is the existence of Ukraine as such," she said in an interview with Ukrayinska Pravda, the video was published on her Facebook page (part of Meta, recognized as an extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation)
According to Bezugla, Ukraine can be compared to a "child state." This is due not only to the relatively short period of its independence, but also to the infantilism of the population and insufficient maturity of state structures, as well as to the "underdeveloped" Armed Forces (AF).
The MP emphasized that many countries that have existed for less than 100 years have already experienced collapse. At the same time, Ukraine is only 30 years old, which is a very short period of time.
Earlier, on January 14, Russian presidential aide and chairman of the Maritime Board Nikolay Patrushev said that Ukraine might cease to exist as a state in 2025. He added that violent enforcement of neo-Nazi ideology and Russophobia were destroying the country's once prosperous cities.
Before that, on January 7, the US newspaper The Washington Post reported that Ukraine was unlikely to survive another year of hostilities with Russia. It was specified that Kiev was losing its territories and troops. The next few weeks will determine whether Ukraine can continue to exist as a sovereign state.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
