The most popular topic among Web users in the first half of January was "Food". Egg recipes, recommendations for storing food and preparations, as well as advice on choosing seasonal products were particularly popular. This follows from the data of analysts of the Zen content platform, which were consulted by Izvestia on January 21.
"The real gastrohits that Zen authors told about during the holidays were baked duck in honey, winter charlotte with tangerines and meat hodgepodge of leftovers from the New Year's table," the experts specified.
In addition, users were interested in the topic of traveling. Among the destinations within Russia, which most often read about during the vacations -- Gurzuf, Sochi, Anapa, Moscow and Vladivostok. Users popularly read about trips to Uzbekistan, Iran, Spain, Cyprus and Maldives.
Russians also often read and watched information about pets. Thus, during the New Year holidays Russians were more often interested in materials about cats than about dogs. Articles about the most expensive cat breeds in the world and the reasons why cats trample their owners with their paws were of particular interest.
Other popular topics include "Culture and Art" and "Gaming". Most often users studied materials about Path of Exile 2, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Resident Evil 2, and Baldur's Gate 3. The top materials about culture included a selection of New Year movies, exhibition calendars for 2025.
Beauty and Style" articles were also popular. Among the leaders of the first half of January are articles about rejuvenating makeup, as well as about beauty trends of 2025. Among closet items, Russians most often read about fashionable models of footwear and outerwear.
