JAC lists car novelties for Russia in 2025
In 2025, the company JAC plans to expand the line of cars in the Russian market. This is stated in the message of the press service of the Chinese brand, which was received by "Izvestia" on January 20.
Thus, the city crossover JS6 is waiting for a complete update in the second quarter. Minivan RF8 will be presented on the Russian market in the summer, and full-size SUV JS9 - at the end of the year. In addition, the T9 pickup will get diesel and manual transmission versions: launches are scheduled for Q2 and Q3, respectively.
In 2024 in Russia, the company became the leader in the pickup segment in the second half of the year with a market share of 23.8%, which was facilitated by the launch of a new model - the flagship T9. Last year, 5,967 JAC pickup trucks were sold, the shares of individuals and legal entities were divided almost equally. The company noted that this indicates the growing popularity of pickup trucks among Russians as a family or hobby vehicle.
Earlier in the day it was reported that in Russia in early 2025 will begin sales of a new Korean SUV Rexton from the company KGM, which was previously sold in Russia under the brand SsangYong. The model will be presented in two configurations.
Also on Monday, it became known that the new electric crossover Avatr 11 will be presented in Russia in three modifications, which differ in powertrain and interior layout.
