In Crimea, volunteers continue to rescue birds affected by oil pollution. This was reported to "Izvestia" on January 20 by the press service of the movement "Popular Front".

"Indifferent residents of Crimea daily work in the center for the reception and rehabilitation of birds affected by oil pollution. Employees, representatives of the authorities, various organizations and volunteers wash them, provide assistance and accommodation", - stated in the message.

It is noted that feathered patients in the Crimean center for the reception and rehabilitation of birds are given vitamins and veterinary drugs for a speedy recovery.

For birds in the center recreated conditions that provide maximum comfort. Thus, Crimean students from the "Youth of the Popular Front" wash the birds, give them medicines and organize their cages.

As part of the #WYWMESTE headquarters, volunteers are clearing the shoreline from fuel oil and helping at the Gagara rehabilitation center in Anapa.

Tankers "Volgoneft-212" and "Volgoneft-239" due to bad weather crashed in the Kerch Strait on December 15, 2024.
