Germany secured a third of European beer supplies to Russia in November 2024
The share of supplies from Germany in the total export of European beer to Russia amounted to 34% in November last year. This became known on January 20 from the data of the statistical service Eurostat, which was studied by "RIA Novosti".
In the first two months of the fall, Germany supplied 29%. Then the supply of the drink from Europe to Russia decreased by 5% in total - to € 19.9 million.
The second place was occupied by the Czech Republic, which supplied 16% of beer, the third place was taken by Latvia with 15%. As for the fourth place, it went to Poland and Belgium - each of the countries supplied 11% of the beverage. Closes the top five Lithuania with a share of 10%.
Earlier, on January 5, it was reported that China increased beer supplies to Russia by 1.6 times in 10 months of 2024, taking the third place among exporters of the drink by volume. Thus, in the period from January to October 2024, China increased the volume of beer exports to the territory of the Russian Federation, delivering 29.8 thousand tons of beer.
