In Moscow, an eighth-grader gave more than 600 thousand rubles to fraudsters.
In Moscow, a 15-year-old girl handed over 600 thousand rubles to fraudsters for "declaration". This was reported by the source of "Izvestiya" on January 20.
The eighth-grader received a phone call from unknown persons and said that it was necessary to declare all the money at home. The attackers offered the teenager not to walk around the city with a large sum, but to hand over the funds to a courier who would deliver them to the "tax service".
"The girl collected all the savings at home, wrapped them in a white bag, wrapped them with tape and stuffed them into a black and red colored shopper. After that, she called a cab from her cell phone to her home to the 1st Krasnogvardeysky passage", - said the interlocutor.
In total, the girl gave the fraudsters Br350 thousand and $3 thousand. Soon the parents learned about the incident and appealed to the police. A criminal case on fraud has been initiated.
Earlier, January 17, a source of "Izvestia" said that fraudsters contacted a 92-year-old retired colonel of intelligence on behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and convinced the pensioner to throw money out the window. The sum amounted to $100 thousand. Later, on January 20, Meshchansky court of Moscow arrested a 20-year-old courier, who worked for these attackers. He is charged under part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fraud committed by an organized group or on a particularly large scale").
