Rosobrnadzor supported the idea of passing the USE only in Russian and mathematics in five regions

Rosobrnadzor supports the idea to conduct a pilot project that would allow only Russian language and mathematics as compulsory subjects in five regions. This was reported to journalists in the press service of the agency on January 20.

"Rosobrnadzor supports the idea of conducting a pilot project in the regions of Russia that have expressed a desire to participate in this project," TASS quoted this report as saying.

According to the agency's assessment, the bill provides for greater autonomy of the regions, as the situation in each of them is different, including in the labor market.

At the same time, it is noted that the document contains different requirements for enrollment in the tenth grade and admission to educational organizations of secondary vocational education. Based on this, graduates will need to think in advance, which educational path to choose, indicated in Rosobrnadzor.

Earlier, on January 17, a group of Duma deputies proposed to make mandatory after the 9th grade only two subjects - Russian language and mathematics. According to the bill, a special procedure may be introduced in 2025 in five regions - Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov and Tyumen regions, as well as North Ossetia.
