The weather forecaster told Muscovites about the weather for the week
Almost all the week the capital region will be in the zone of increased atmospheric pressure, leading specialist of the information agency "Meteonovosti" Tatyana Pozdnyakova told "Izvestia" on January 20. According to her, such sunny weather as was observed the day before is not expected.
"On Tuesday [, January 21] the weather is cloudy with clearings. At night without precipitation. And in the afternoon tomorrow at times a small weak snowfall. The temperature tomorrow will be close to the climatic norm, that is, tomorrow will probably be the only day that looks like January. The minimum temperature in Moscow is expected to be -7...-9, in the region up to -10. In the afternoon, the maximum temperature is -4...-6, in the region -3...-8", - said the forecaster.
At the same time, on January 22, Wednesday, will be cloudy with clearings, a light snow is expected in the night hours. The temperature will remain at -4...-6. Daytime temperatures will be -1...-6 in the region, -2...-4 in Moscow, and a light snow is also predicted at times. The air temperature will again be above the climatic norm by four degrees.
"In the following days there will be an increase in temperature both in the night and daytime hours. Practically until the end of the week, at night we [will have] cloudy with clearings and light snow in places, and in the daytime hours there will be a phase of weak or small precipitation," Pozdnyakova added.
Thus, the air temperature in the night hours on Thursday, January 23, will be -1...-6. The daytime temperature will be -3...+2. On Friday, January 24, the minimum temperature will be within 0...-5. Daytime temperature is -3...+2.
In addition, January 25 will be warm: both night and day temperatures will be around 0. In Moscow, the maximum temperature may reach +1...+3. The air temperature will be above the climatic norm by seven degrees.
"So far, the winter process is not visible on the horizon. Most likely, until the end of January we will continue to have such weather with a large positive air temperature anomaly and small precipitation in mixed phase," - concluded Pozdnyakova.
Earlier, on January 10, leading specialist of the information agency Meteonovosti Tatyana Pozdnyakova told Izvestia that the second half of winter in the capital will be warm. At the same time, she noted that the lowest temperature in the current month will be observed in the last five days.
