Two people killed in AFU shelling of village in Kherson region
Two people have been killed in a Ukrainian army strike on Bekhter in Kherson Region. This was reported on Monday, January 20, by the press Secretary of the Governor of the region Vladimir Vasilenko.
"According to preliminary data, the Armed forces of Ukraine used a cluster shell, as a result of which civilians suffered. It is known about 15 injured, of which two are dead adults," he told TASS.
As Vasilenko specified, the shelling of the settlement in Golopristansky district took place from about 7:00 to 7:30 Moscow time.
The AFU attack on Bekhteri was reported earlier in the day by Igor Kastukevich, a senator from the Kherson region. A little later, the head of the region Vladimir Saldo told about 13 victims, among them two children in serious condition, as well as the presence of the dead. The injured are being provided with medical care.
