Russian Armed Forces destroyed AFU vehicles in the Kursk border area
Servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) have liquidated Ukrainian army vehicles in a border area of Kursk Region. The Russian Defense Ministry published footage of the combat operation on January 20.
The technique was discovered by military reconnaissance units of the Russian Defense Ministry's Rubicon test center for advanced unmanned technologies. It is specified that the vehicles were transporting fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
As a result of operational data transfer, the target was successfully destroyed by the calculations of FPV-drones of the Rubicon center.
Earlier in the day, the calculation of 152-millimeter towed guns 2A36 "Hyacinth-B" of the artillery unit of the Airborne Forces destroyed a camouflaged gun of the AFU in the border area of the Kursk region. It is noted that after the first shot the artillerymen from Feodosia made an adjustment, and the second shot eliminated the Ukrainian installation.
The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk region on August 6, 2024. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. The liquidation of the Ukrainian militants who invaded the Russian territory is underway.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
