It became known about the lawsuit of the family of the victim who died from mineral water "Jermuk" in Vladikavkaz

The family of Oleg Gusev, a businessman from Vladikavkaz who died as a result of poisoning by Jermuk water, has filed a lawsuit against the manufacturing company for the amount of 1.5 billion rubles. This was reported by the Kommersant newspaper on January 19.

The corresponding lawsuit was filed in the Soviet District Court of Vladikavkaz on behalf of the wife and two daughters of the deceased against CJSC "Jermuk Group", " Gazeta.ru" specified.

The damage suffered by the family of the deceased was estimated at 1.5 billion rubles. The payment also included an invoice for the sanaviation flight in the amount of 5 million rubles. The statement said that the father was literally the meaning of life for his second daughter, Albina. It was he who became a donor for her kidney transplant surgery.

Earlier, on February 13, 2024, it was reported that a resident of Vladikavkaz, who received esophageal burns from liquid from a mineral water bottle on February 12, died in hospital. The poisoning occurred after taking a sip of liquid from a bottle of "Jermuk" mineral water.

On the same day Rospotrebnadzor suspended the sale of "Jermuk" brand mineral water batches. The measures were taken with regard to the batches packed in glass containers of 0.5 liters and imported into Russia from December 28 to February 12 with the production date of December 28.
