Rospotrebnadzor terminated the declaration of dangerous aroma-inhalers
Rospotrebnadzor has terminated the validity of declarations of dangerous aroma-inhalers, which were previously sold en masse on various Internet resources. This was reported to "Izvestia" in the press service of the agency.
"Rospotrebnadzor carried out comprehensive work regarding the monitoring of the realization of "aroma-inhalers for the nose", as well as the study of the specified products. FBUZ "Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology in Moscow" conducted research on samples of aroma-inhalers, during which detected and identified in their composition menthol, declared on the labeling, camphor, not declared on the labeling, compounds characteristic of both natural essential oils and synthetic fragrances, not declared on the product labeling. In addition, the lack of information on the packaging in Russian, information about the manufacturer and importer of the product, instructions for safe use, which is also a violation," the service told Izvestia.
In order to urgently take comprehensive measures aimed at preventing the sale of products that do not meet the requirements of the law and potentially create risks of harm to health, the relevant information Rospotrebnadzor sent to Rosakkreditation, Roszdravnadzor, the Association of Internet Trade Companies.
"Identified products sold with violations have been withdrawn from sale, the declarations have been terminated. Rospotrebnadzor, in the case of detection of the specified products, take prompt action to suspend such documents, as well as the realization of these products", - explained in the service.
