The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have launched an artillery strike on Vasilyevka in Zaporizhzhya Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Yevgeny Balitsky on January 19.

"Destruction received the building of the district court. There are no casualties," he wrote in Telegram.

The Governor added that the militants attacked Vasilievka with an unidentified munition.

The day before, a resident of the Belgorod region suffered as a result of a strike by the AFU. According to preliminary data, in the village of Belovskoye, windows were broken and facades of two private houses were slashed, a garage was damaged on the territory of one house. Shrapnel also damaged five cars.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
