An airplane flying to Barnaul returned to Krasnoyarsk airport due to a malfunction. This was reported in the press service of the Eastern Interregional Investigative Department on Transport of the Investigative Committee (ICS IC) of Russia on January 19.
"During the flight Krasnoyarsk - Barnaul the aircraft due to a technical malfunction made a return to Krasnoyarsk international airport named after. D.A. Hvorostovsky," the agency's Telegram channel said.
It noted that the landing was made in normal mode and no one was hurt.
The investigation is conducting a check on the signs of crimes under Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of safety rules of movement and operation of rail, air, sea and inland waterway transport and subway").
Earlier, on January 15, a Boeing-737 airliner heading from Moscow to Novosibirsk returned to Sheremetyevo airport because of a passenger's report of a bomb planted in the plane.
