CSKA defeated Sibir in a shootout 4:3 in a KHL match

The Moscow ice hockey club CSKA defeated Sibir by shootout in the regular championship of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). The meeting on January 19 ended with a score of 4:3.

CSKA got goals from Ruslan Iskhakov, Ivan Drozdov and Maxim Sorkin. The Novosibirsk club got goals from Brendan Lipsic, who scored a double, and Pavel Gogolev.

The main time of the match ended with the score 3:3. Forward Denis Guryanov scored the winning shot in the shootout.

After the victory, the Moscow club moved up to second place in the Western Conference standings. "Siberia" is located on the eighth line of the conference East.

January 16, SKA St. Petersburg lost to Severstal Cherepovets in a KHL match. The meeting ended with a score of 7:4 in favor of the club from Cherepovets. For the team from St. Petersburg this is the fourth consecutive defeat in the championship.
