Roskomnadzor (RKN) has not recorded any failure in the work of the mobile application TikTok in Runet. This was reported to Izvestia on January 19 by the press service of the RCN.
"Roskomnadzor at the moment does not record any changes in the work of the TikTok application in the Russian segment of the Internet," the press service said.
According to the portal "Failure.RF", which appeared earlier in the day, more than 4 thousand users left a complaint about the work of the mobile application. Most complaints came from Moscow, the Sverdlovsk region and Chelyabinsk.
January 19, NBC News reported that the social network TikTok has become unavailable to residents of the United States. It was specified that the social network disappeared from the App Store and Google Play.
U.S. President Joe Biden signed a law banning the social network on April 24, 2024. Senators in Congress then approved this measure by an overwhelming majority of votes, because they believed that the Chinese government could secretly monitor US citizens through this application.
