Europe needs to change and get rid of pessimism about itself in order not to meet the end. This opinion was expressed on January 19 by American entrepreneur and billionaire Ilon Musk.

"Pessimism everywhere. It will lead to the end of Europe. Therefore, it must change," he wrote on his page in the social network X (former Twitter).

According to Musk, many people in Europe do not believe in a better future or consider it "bad", which could lead to its demise.

The day before, Musk published the slogan "Let's make Europe great again!", which was earlier proclaimed by Alice Weidel, candidate for Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany from the Alternative for Germany (AdG) party.

Before that, on January 17, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that Musk's statements are a threat to European democracy. Thus, according to Scholz, Musk's support of the far-right is unacceptable, even if he does it out of business interests or political views.
