Military groups of troops "West" destroyed 13 AFU drone control points
The servicemen of the "West" group of troops have destroyed a Starlink satellite communication station, 13 drone control points and a field ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was stated by the head of the press center of the group of troops "West" Ivan Bigma on January 19.
"Thirteen UAV control points, a Starlink satellite communication station and a field ammunition depot were destroyed," he told Interfax.
Bigma also noted that the Russian military, supported by artillery, aviation and heavy flame-throwing systems, managed to take more favorable positions. In addition, he said, the AFU's two airmobile brigades and airborne assault regiment were hit in the areas of Lozovaya and Zagryzovo settlements in Kharkiv Region.
In addition, the head of the press center of the grouping of troops "West" reported about two Ukrainian drones shot down by air defense calculations.
Earlier, on January 16, Bigma said that servicemen of the troops group "West" destroyed three Starlink stations and 13 Ukrainian UAV sites. He also said that the AFU militants lost a US-made M109 Paladin self-propelled artillery unit, a 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer, a US-made M777 howitzer, a British L119 and a D-30 towed howitzer.
Prior to that, on January 15, the Russian Defense Ministry said that calculations of 122-millimeter D-30 howitzers of the 122-millimeter howitzers of the motorized rifle regiment of the "West" group of forcesdestroyed the AFU's Bradley infantry fighting vehicle, as well as camouflaged strongholds and enemy manpower.
