British Prince Harry may be deported from the United States after the inauguration of American President-elect Donald Trump. This was reported by Nyle Gardiner, a representative of the Heritage Foundation think tank, to the Daily Express newspaper on January 18.

According to the expert, Trump may publish Prince Harry's immigration documents within months of taking office.

The newspaper said that in May 2023, the center filed an application with the court to release Prince Harry's immigration documents because of doubts about the legality of his stay in the country after he admitted to drug use. However, the application was blocked by a judge in September 2024.

"In my opinion, there's a very good chance that the records will be released. And as President Trump has stated in the past, he will take appropriate action if Harry lied in his statement," Gardiner told the publication.

He noted that in the United States, admitting to drug use can be grounds for deportation.

Earlier, on November 11, 2024, Americanist Vladimir Mozhegov reported that after the inauguration, Trump may expel British Prince Harry from the country. According to the expert, Trump likes Nigel Farage, a member of the British Parliament and leader of the Reform the United Kingdom party, more than Prime Minister Keir Starmer, so he may go for the expulsion of Prince Harry.

The election for the 47th president of the United States was held on November 5, 2024. In the popular vote, Trump received 51% of the vote, while Democratic candidate Kamala Harris received 47.4% of the vote. Later, the Republican, speaking to supporters, called himself the 47th President of the United States and said that his goal as head of state considers the end of military conflicts in the world. The inauguration ceremony of the President-elect of the United States will be held on January 20, 2025.
