Marochko reported the encirclement of AFU fighters near Nadiya in the LNR by Russian troops

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are "taking the Ukrainian Armed Forces' (AFU) grouping near Nadiya in the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) in the course of fierce fighting. This was reported to TASS on January 18 by military expert and retired LPR lieutenant colonel Andrei Marochko.

He specified that Russian servicemen manage to carry out a gradual encirclement of the enemy even when the AFU attempts to resist.

"But despite active opposition from the enemy, our troops are taking in pincers that grouping, which is between Pershotravnev and Novogorovka," - emphasized the expert.

Earlier, on January 5, Marochko reported about the infrastructure of the Nadiya settlement in the LNR destroyed by the militants. In his opinion, the liberation of Nadiya was natural and expected.
