Former Lokomotiv and Rubin player Kvaratskhelia signed a contract with PSG
Georgian midfielder Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who played in soccer clubs (FC) "Lokomotiv" and "Rubin", moved from Italian "Napoli" to French "Paris Saint-Germain". This was announced on January 17 on the website of the soccer club from France.
"We are delighted to welcome Hvicha Kvaratskhelia to the Paris Saint-Germain family. Hvicha is one of the most exciting players in world soccer - a fantastic talent, but also a player who has courage and fights for the team above all else," club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi said.
It is specified that the Georgian footballer will become the first player from Georgia in the history of Paris Saint-Germain. He signed a contract until June 2029. The number under which he will go on the field, previously belonged to the top scorer in the history of the French club Kylian Mbappe.
Earlier, on January 11, it was reported that the soccer club "Lance" accepted an offer from Manchester City on the transfer of defender Abdukodir Khusanov for £33.5 million (€40 million). Khusanov, the 20-year-old Uzbekistan center-back, is set to sign a four-and-a-half-year contract.
