Jaecoo's new J5 crossover will get a karaoke mode
The multimedia system of the new Jaecoo J5 crossover will have a built-in karaoke mode. This is stated in the message of the Chinese company, which was received by Izvestia on January 17.
Jaecoo said that car karaoke in the segment of compact crossovers will be presented for the first time. The audio system with a reverberation effect and sound processing technology is able to combine vocals and background music. In addition to various settings, the hardware features several acoustic effects that reproduce special sound scenarios. These include "Karaoke", "Recording Studio (R.Studio)", "Popular Music" or "Clear Vocals".
Karaoke mode also includes a built-in vocal removal function, so you can convert a track from your smartphone into an accompaniment by connecting to the media system via Bluetooth. A noise-canceling karaoke microphone will be available at authorized dealers as an optional accessory.
The new Jaecoo J5 crossover will be the most compact model in the brand's lineup, it will appear on the Russian market in early 2025. The front-wheel drive version will be offered with a 1.5-liter engine and variator, and all-wheel drive - with a 1.6-liter unit in conjunction with a robotic seven-speed transmission.
On January 14, it was reported that Jaecoo is testing hybrid versions of the J7 and J8 crossovers, which are now presented in Russia only with a conventional internal combustion engine, as well as an all-electric J6 parketnik to adapt to Russian operating conditions.
