Storm warning declared in Stavropol Krai at the weekend

Forecasters have warned of snowfall and wind in the Stavropol Territory over the weekend. A storm warning has been announced in the region.

Unfavorable weather is expected until January 20. Forecasters predict ice and strong wind with gusts up to 25 m/s in the north of Stavropol, wet snow is expected to stick to wires. Snowfall is also expected in the central and southeastern regions, writes StavropolMedia IA.

Employees of the traffic police ask drivers to be careful while driving. Local residents are advised not to go out without need.

In the Kaliningrad region strong storms damaged the coastal infrastructure of popular resorts. On unprotected parts of the shore in Zelenogradsk there were recorded erosion of avandune and collapse of trees. In Rybnoye, the shore was severely damaged by waves.
