The head coach of the Belgian national soccer team Tedesco has been sent to retirement

Headed Spartak Moscow German Domenico Tedesco resigned as head coach of the Belgian national soccer team. This was announced by the team on January 17.

"The national team completes its chapter with Domenico Tedesco," - stated in the social network X (former Twitter).

The reason for his resignation as head coach is unknown. The Belgian national soccer team expressed gratitude to the coach for his enthusiasm over the past two years and wished him success in the future.

Earlier, on January 9, it was reported that Tedesco worked in Russia for just over two years and became one of the best coaches in the recent history of Spartak Moscow. He took over the team in 12th place and pumped them up to silver medals and Champions League qualification in a year and a half. After that, having worked his contract to the end, he took charge of Leipzig and then the Belgian national team, which he took to the finals of the European Championship - 2024 ahead of schedule.
