12 schoolchildren poisoned in Kazan health center

Twelve schoolchildren were poisoned in the health center "Duslyk" located in Kazan. This was reported on January 17 by Telegram-channel "Tatarstan-24" with reference to the Ministry of Health of the region.

It is known that two days ago the final stage of the Republican Olympiad in chemistry started on the territory of the center.

It is specified that the victims were hospitalized with signs of intestinal poisoning. Their condition is assessed as satisfactory, doctors are providing all the necessary assistance. According to a relative of one of the children, the cause could be the food in the canteen, which seemed unappetizing to the children.

The Telegram channel of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan reported that a criminal case has been opened for the fact of providing services that do not meet safety requirements.

On the eve it was reported that in Krasnoyarsk region a case of mass poisoning of elderly citizens in the sanatorium "Sosnovy Bor" was recorded. A criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet the safety requirements of life and health of consumers"). The Prosecutor's Office of Krasnoyarsk region reported that an inspection was organized.

According to the latest data, the number of victims increased to 47 people, 10 of them were hospitalized. Laboratory studies of finished products and raw materials, cold water, as well as washes from the hands of food processing workers continue. The work of the sanatorium has been suspended since Friday, January 17.
