Among the surveyed Russians, 41% of respondents said that they were fired under the influence of strong emotions. This is stated in the results of the research of the service "Work.ru", which were read by "Izvestia" on January 20.

Dismissal, according to the answers, is most often associated with a sense of resentment at unfair treatment (57%). It is followed by disappointment in work or company (52%). At the same time, 36% of respondents cite stress and burnout as reasons for quitting. Feelings of anger at bosses or colleagues also played a role in quitting for 34% of respondents.

The majority (78%) of Russians who quit in a fit of emotion, after some time confirm the correctness of their decision. An insignificant part, 8%, still doubts that they were right, the same number of respondents found it difficult to answer, and only 6% regret the decision made in an emotional state.

Assessing the impact of emotional dismissal on the future career, almost half (47%) of respondents did not mention any consequences. Meanwhile, for 26%, the results were positive, while 12% assessed them as negative.

Earlier, on October 29, 2024, it was reported that among employed Russians 37% of respondents positively perceive overtime if the employer pays extra for it. And only 11% of employees are willing to perform overtime tasks without compensation. This was evidenced by a survey conducted by the analytical center "Consol.Pro".
