The power grid damaged in snowfalls has been restored in the Pskov Region
In the Pskov Region, power engineers managed to restore more than 5.5 thousand kilometers of power transmission lines. Nearly 4,000 transformer substations that were shut down during heavy snowfalls are back in operation.
According to Pskov Newswire with reference to PJSC "Rosseti North-West", specialists are receiving and working on consumers' requests around the clock. The work will continue until the consequences of bad weather are completely eliminated. All socially important facilities are fully supplied with electricity.
Rosseti reminded of the need to strictly observe safety rules for those who are near power facilities and power lines. It is forbidden to come closer than 8 meters to broken wires, as well as to restore power supply independently.
The Agency reminds that last Sunday in the Pskov region more than 19 thousand people were left without power supply. The region was hit by the snow cyclone "Charlie". Power engineers removed more than 1.2 thousand fallen trees from power lines.
