The prosecutor's office checked Murmansk airport after flights were canceled
The North-West Transport Prosecutor's Office organized an inspection at Murmansk airport after flights to Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan were canceled. The employees of the supervisory agency assessed how the rights of passengers of the delayed flights were observed.
IA "Beeport" specifies that the prosecutor's office has deployed a mobile reception room at the airport to work with passenger complaints. Specialists also control the work on the preparation of the runway.
On the eve, January 16, in Murmansk due to bad weather suspended the reception and departure of aircraft. A total of 11 flights to Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan were delayed. Now the airport is working normally.
Earlier, on January 12, it was reported that because of bad weather in the area of St. Petersburg airport Pulkovo 33 planes went to alternate airfields. Near Pulkovo continued heavy rainfall in the form of snow. The North-West Transport Prosecutor's Office monitored the observance of passengers' rights in connection with flight delays at Pulkovo.
