- Sobyanin reported a 2.1-fold increase in exports of high-tech products and IT services
The volume of exports of high-tech products and IT services increased 2.1 times. This was reported by Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin in his Telegram channel on January 17.
Sobyanin noted that in 2024 the number of export contracts, which were concluded with the support of the Moscow Export Center (MEC), reached more than 26 billion rubles, which exceeded the figures of 2023 by 37%.
According to the mayor of the capital, Moscow companies supplied high-tech products to 44 countries. Software was exported to such countries as Azerbaijan and India, components for orthopedic products were supplied to Bolivia.
Sobyanin also added that in 2025 there are plans to strengthen the presence of Russian entrepreneurs in the markets of Oman, Pakistan, Mongolia and Malaysia.
Earlier, on January 13, the Sultanate's Minister of Housing and Urban Planning Khalfan bin Saeed Al-Shuaili told Izvestia that Oman seeks to attract Russian investors in the sustainable development sector, tourism, technology and other areas. According to the head of the department, maritime infrastructure is considered an important area of concentration of Russian-Omani efforts.
