Tours to Baikal for February-March this year rose in price by 15%, the cost of tickets and reservations increased by 33-45%, the services told "Izvestia".
The average cost of booking for February-March for one night in the regions near Baikal has increased by 33%, "Izvestia" was told in the service of hotel search and booking from 2GIS "Othello". The average cost of booking one night in the Irkutsk region is Br5.8 thousand, in Buryatia - Br4.6 thousand.
The growth of prices for air tickets to these destinations from year to year averages 35% and is explained by the increase in demand and inflation, added the product director of "Kupibilet" Andrei Maslak.
Tours have gone up in price by about 15%, compared to last year, added Ksenia Andriankova, head of the Russian travel booking service Turslet, which is part of Sletat.ru.
"There is ice on Baikal now, but not everywhere. According to tour operators, if the ice will be formed to the necessary thickness longer than usual, then tourists will be moved on khivus - hovercrafts", - she explained.
Now, according to her, there are no cancelations of tours and the volume of reservations remains at the level of last year.
