Three Gorlovka residents injured in AFU attacks on DNR
Three civilians were injured in the Nikitovka district of Horlivka as a result of attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) militants on the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). This was reported by the head of the region Denis Pushilin on January 16.
A woman born in 1964 and two men born in 1958 and 1952 were injured when an explosive object from a Ukrainian drone was dropped on a car. They were given medical assistance, he noted.
Also, the DNR head said that two residential houses and three cars were damaged in the Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka, and two more objects of civilian infrastructure - in the Kalininsky district of the city.
"More than 10 armed attacks were carried out by Ukrainian armed formations. Barrel artillery of 155 mm caliber was used, including cluster type, attack UAVs," Pushilin added in his Telegram channel.
Earlier, on January 15, Pushilin said that three civilians were injured as a result of AFU attacks in Gorlovka and Makeyevka of the DNR. In addition, a civilian infrastructure facility and two cars were damaged in Horlivka, and eight residential buildings and five cars were damaged in Makeyevka.
Ukrainian militants have been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis amid the special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
