The Ministry of Finance estimated the Russian Federation's budget expenditures on national projects as of January 1

As of January 1, Russia's federal budget expenditures amounted to 99.6% of the plan. This was reported in the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation on January 16.

"Execution of federal budget expenditures on the implementation of national projects as of January 1, 2025 amounted to 3310.5 billion rubles, or 99.6% of the planned budget assignments", - stated in the publication on the website.

The national projects "Demography", "Safe Quality Roads", "Science and Universities", as well as "International Cooperation and Export" have been 100% fulfilled. They are followed by the national projects "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation" and "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative" (99.7%).

They are followed by "Comprehensive Plan for Modernization and Expansion of Trunk Infrastructure (Transport Part)" (99.6%), "Culture" (99.5%), "Housing and Urban Environment" (99.4%), "Labor Productivity" (99.2%) and "Education" (99%).

At the same time, the projects "Health Care" (98.7%), "Tourism and Hospitality Industry" (98.6%), "Ecology" (97.7%) and "Unmanned Aviation Systems" (97.4%) scored less than 99%.

Earlier, on January 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the results of national projects will be evaluated not "on paper", but by improving the quality of life of the country's residents. The head of state noted that the result should be assessed by how Russians perceive the work done within the framework of the projects.
