Romania would benefit from cooperation with BRICS, MEP and leader of the S.O.S Romania party Diana Shoshoake told Izvestia.

"BRICS is a reality that should be taken into account. The EU would benefit if it started to cooperate with this most important structure of our time. I think Romania would benefit from rapprochement with BRICS and this is true for the whole EU," said Diana Shoshoake.

At the BRICS summit in Kazan in 2024, several states received the status of partner countries of the association. Now the group consists of 10 states: Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, UAE, Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia and Indonesia.
